Before your first match

A few questions.

Will other players see my cosmetics?

The changes appear on your own PC. They do not give you ownership of Steam items or change what other players own or see.

How does the free trial work?

Your 3-day trial starts when you first sign in on an eligible PC. No card is needed. There is one trial per PC, so creating another email account does not start a second trial on the same device.

Do I need to sign in every time?

No. The launcher keeps you signed in after you close it or restart your PC. If your access expires, you can still see your account and renew; launching requires active access.

What happens after Dota updates?

The launcher looks for a verified release compatible with your installed Dota build. When one has been published, it downloads it automatically. If the new build is not supported yet, the launcher waits rather than starting with unavailable cosmetics.

Can I move my account to a different PC?

Yes. Device reset is available in the launcher’s account menu. Resets have a 24-hour cooldown, and moving an account does not grant another free trial.

Will I be charged again automatically?

No. The 3-month plan is a one-time payment and ends unless you renew. The €50 lifetime plan has no subscription expiry. Payments are made from your signed-in launcher.

How do I get support or report an item?

Contact [email protected]. For a cosmetic issue, include the hero name, item name, selected style, and a description of the problem. A screenshot helps when a model or effect does not look right.
